Consultation
During the first consultation, this is a time for you to express yourself and talk about your problem in a relaxed environment. You will be asked to complete a full medical history including all the issues physical, emotional and social, which you and your Homeopath may feel are relevant to your state of health. A clinical examination may be necessary depending upon the individual case. A full initial consultation will last around 90 mins and is strictly confidential.
Sometimes you may experience a very slight worsening of symptoms after taking your medicine this is often because the remedy is the one you need. Homeopaths see this as a healing crisis and this usually only for a while before you see signs of improvement.
I believe it is very important to have access to your homeopath between appointments. Therefore, I make myself available by telephone at the times Mon to Fri from 5.15pm till 6:15pm. For urgent calls leave a message and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
Telephone is my preferred method of communication in patient follow up care, as there are usually a series of questions I need to ask. E-mail does not work satisfactorily when I am treating with homeopathic remedies, I need to here the changes happening in my patients.
